Mary Arnold - We Art Women Artist
Updated: Mar 29, 2019
Mary Arnold, MGArnoldArt - I am a dedicated emerging artist in love with bright colors and all the beauty that the world holds. Growing up in rural Idaho on a small dairy farm, I did not have the means to study art in school. However, I was blessed with a mom who had an artistic spirit and we found many ways to be creative. Finding that I loved numbers as well, I pursued a career in analytics and only recently, encouraged by another local artist, I came back to my art career. A self-taught artist, I have been focused on painting expressionistic and impressionistic animals and landscapes, with a few cityscapes as well. I am inspired by many artists, but most recently by the work of the famous animaliere artist Rosa Bonheur, and the German Bauhaus movement from the early 1900s.
Mary's painting "Reggae Man" is in the We Art Women Juried Exhibition. See it in person at the opening reception on April 4th at Art Source Gallery
